Old Jefferson Park Home torn down to make way for new 3 flat 7 apartment unit

A 114-year-old frame home at 5512 W. Higgins Ave. has been torn down to make way for a three-story building with seven apartments.
Westford Development filed an application with the Zoning Board of Appeals seeking a variation to reduce the front-yard setback and the rear-yard open space.
An application for a construction permit states that the masonry building will have a basement and that two detached garages would be built.
