A MAN REPORTED that a man threatened him with a gun at about 8:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the 6100 block of North Harding Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 26-year-old man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the front door was open and he heard noise upstairs, and that he went outside and later saw a man leave his house, according to police. The man said that a minivan drove by and a man pointed a gun at him and said that another man was still in his house, police said.

AN EMPLOYEE of the Mobil gas station, 3960 W. Irving Park Road, reported that a man fired a gun at a man at about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 41-year-old man reported that a man entered the store and used the restroom and that when he left the gas station he fired a gun at a man outside and then fled in a car, according to police.

SHOTS WERE fired at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the 5100 block of North Central Park Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
Witnesses reported that a car drove by and a passenger fired a gun at two 16-year-old teens, according to police.

A COUPLE reported that they were robbed at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the 3100 block of West Cullom Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 56-year-old man and 50-year-old woman reported that two men approached them and one of them displayed a handgun and took a wallet containing credit cards, a driver’s license and $30 in cash, according to police.

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy reported that he was robbed at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct 23, in the 3300 block of West Eastwood Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The boy reported that three men approached him and one of them struck him on the head with a gun and took his phone and credit cards, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, in the 5000 block of North Avers Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 32-year-old man reported that three men struck him on the head and took his cell phone, a bag and $60 from him, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about noon Saturday, Oct. 22, in the 4400 block of North Saint Louis Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 20-year-old man reported that a man displayed a handgun and took his wallet containing his driver’s license, his cell phone and his backpack, according to police.

A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4000 block of West School Street was burglarized at about 1:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door was open and that $250 was missing, according to police.

A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3400 block of North Monticello Avenue was burglarized between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door was open and that five rings, five necklaces, three pairs of earrings, a bracelet and $370 in cash were missing, according to police.

LINCOLNWOOD

TWO WOMEN reported that their vehicles were burglarized in the parking lot of Planet Fitness, 6850 N. McCormick Blvd., between 3:20 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, according to Lincolnwood police.
A woman reported that she discovered that the window of the driver’s-side sliding door on her minivan was broken and that her purse containing her driver’s license, insurance cards, credit and debit cards and an unknown amount of cash was missing, according to police.
Another woman reported that she discovered that the front passenger-side window was broken and that her laptop bag valued at $80 and containing a laptop computer valued at $1,300, her driver’s license, credit and debit cards and $40 in cash was missing, according to police. The woman said that while she was waiting for police to arrive, she received a text message from the American Express Fraud Division stating that someone attempted to use her credit card at a gas station in Chicago and that the transaction was declined, police said.

A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly shoplifted items from the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., at about noon Friday, Oct. 21, according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the man place seven items of children’s clothing valued at $217 in his backpack and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police. A background check on the man revealed a bond forfeiture warrant for retail theft that was issued by the Lincolnwood Police Department in March, and the Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney’s Office declined to charge the man with a felony for the incident based on his lack of convictions and the amount of the theft, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Gregory A. White, age 28, of the 6400 block of North Hoyne Avenue.

AN EMPLOYEE the Kohl’s store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., was arrested after he allegedly shoplifted items from the store at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that she saw the man place several items valued at $261 in a shopping bag and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Trevon Smith, age 20, of the 800 block of West Eastwood Avenue.
