A MAN AND A woman reported that shots were fired at them while they were driving in the 5300 block of North Cicero Avenue at about 2 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 30-year-old man and 21-year-old woman reported that as they were driving a small black four-door car with three male occupants drove next to them and that one man in the passenger seat fired a gun striking the vehicle multiple times in the driver’s side door and rear tire, and that the car drove away west on Foster Avenue, according to police.

TWO MEN WERE stabbed outside of a business in the 4000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at about 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
A 21-year-old man reported that a man verbally harassed him on the sidewalk and that the man cut him on the left side of his head with a knife before he fled, according to police. The man was treated at Community First Medical Center, police said. The man’s 22-year-old friend reported that he witnessed the attack and was stabbed in the left leg and arm as the assailant was running away, according to police. The second man was treated at Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said.
The man was described as 5-5 to 5-7 and 140 to 160 pounds, having a light complexion, and wearing a green and multi-colored camouflage-style hooded sweatshirt.

A MAN REPORTED that he was attacked outside of Moretti’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 6727 N. Olmsted Ave., at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 25-year-old man reported that he was told that two men were attacking his friend outside the bar, and that when he went outside he was attacked by two men in their mid 20’s, one of whom approached from behind and struck his face, according to police. The man was treated at Resurrection Hospital for jaw injuries and needed surgery, police said.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 12:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the parking lot of Burger King, 6400 W. Irving Park Road, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 19-year-old man reported that he was in his vehicle when a light blue Dodge Caravan containing two women and four men approached, and one person made gang gestures and shouted gang slogans and that people exited the vehicle and one smashed his rear windshield and rear passenger side window with a baseball bat, and that they surrounded his vehicle and took his cell phone and wallet containing identification and credit cards before driving away, according to police.

A COUPLE reported that they were robbed and that their car was stolen at about 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the 5900 block of West Montrose Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 33-year-old man reported that he contacted a woman via social media about buying his red 2006 Lexus GS300, and that he and his 36-year-old wife picked up the woman and man to let them test drive the vehicle, according to police.
The couple reported that the man and woman drove their car into a parking lot and that the man pointed a large knife at them, ordered them out, and took a purse containing various cards and an iPhone, and drove away with the other woman, police said.
The man was described as black, age 20, approximately 5-5 and 150 pounds, with black hair. The woman was described as black, age 20, and approximately 5-10 and 200 pounds.

AN EMPLOYEE of Maytag Laundry, 4313 N. Milwaukee Ave., reported that he was robbed at gunpoint in the alley behind the business at about 5:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 55-year-old man reported that he was taking out the trash when a man approached, pointed a black handgun at his forehead and demanded his belongings, and took $553 in cash, according to police.
The man was described as black, about age 30, approximately 6-0, and wearing all black clothing.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the 6400 block of West Addison Street, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 21-year-old man reported that two men approached and told him to empty his pockets, and that when he ran towards an alley, the men caught him, punched him in the face and stomach, and took his wallet containing $250 in cash, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in the 4800 block of West Cornelia Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 41-year-old man reported that he was exiting his vehicle when three men wearing masks approached, and that one man threw him to the ground and pointed a black handgun while two others took his iPhone 7 and a brown wallet containing his driver’s license and miscellaneous papers, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in the 4300 block of North Narragansett Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 32-year-old man reported that a man approached from behind, told him he had a gun and demanded money, and took about $1,100 in cash, according to police.
An employee of the Chicago Sweet Connection Bakery, 5569 N Northwest Hwy., reported that two men stole property and hit him with their vehicle at about 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 23-year-old man reported that he observed two men taking bakery pallets from the rear of the business and that when he approached them they entered their vehicle and struck him with it while fleeing, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that a man broke into his family’s home in the 5100 block of West Newport Avenue at about 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that he heard a noise in the house and saw a man run out the rear door, and discovered that a 60-inch television set was missing and a boarded-up rear window had been pushed in, according to police.
The man was described as Hispanic, 6-0 and 190 pounds, having an olive-colored complexion, and wearing all black clothing.

A WITNESS reported that three men took a clothing donation box from a parking lot in the 5600 block of West Lawrence Avenue at about 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The male witness reported that three white men, possibly speaking Russian, took the box valued at about $1,000 and drove it away in a white pickup truck, according to police.

SEVERAL vehicle thefts were reported between 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, and 6:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Thefts were reported in the 4000 block of North LeClaire Avenue, the 5500 block of West Eddy Street, the 6100 block of West Montrose Avenue, the 5900 block of North Oconto Avenue, the 5600 block of West Windsor Avenue, the 4900 block of West Cornelia Avenue and the 5400 block of West Henderson Street, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that a man broke into his family’s home in the 5100 block of West Newport Avenue at about 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that he heard a noise in the house and saw a man run out the rear door, and discovered that a 60-inch television set was missing and a boarded-up rear window had been pushed in, according to police.
The man was described as Hispanic, approximately 6-0 and 190 pounds, having an olive-colored complexion, and wearing all black clothing.

A MAN REPORTED that a home in the 5800 block of West Waveland Avenue was burglarized between 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, and 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 52-year-old man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that an air compressor valued at $300, three nail guns valued at $1,000 total and a simply safe alarm box valued at $200, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that his belongings were stolen from his backyard in the 4800 block of West Cullom Avenue at about 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 34-year-old man reported that he viewed home surveillance footage of two men entering his yard and stealing three Toro snow blowers valued at $3,800 total and a Toro generator valued at $2,000, according to police.
