A woman reported that she was robbed at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the 3900 block of North Francisco Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 18-year-old woman reported that two men and a woman approached and the woman struck her with a handgun, and one of them took two cell phones valued at $600 each and her purse containing a U.S. passport, social security card and $40 in cash, and that the other man then sprayed her with a chemical spray before they fled south on Francisco, according to police. The woman was treated at Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said.
The armed woman was described as black, about 5-5 to 6-0, and 200 to 280 pounds. The man armed with the spray was described as black, about 5-5 to 6-0, with black dreadlocked hair, and wearing a grey do-rag and a black hooded sweatshirt. The other man was described as black, about 5-5 to 6-0, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

A MAN REPORTED that another man allegedly tried to run him over in the parking lot of the Home Depot, 3500 N. Kimball Ave., at about 12:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 44-year-old man reported that he got into an argument with another day man and that the man who was intoxicated entered his blue 2004 Ford Explorer truck and tried to run him over before driving away south on Kimball, according to police.

Two teenagers reported that they were robbed at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in an alley in the 3600 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A 15-year-old male teenager reported that he was walking with his 16-year-old friend when a man called him from a street corner and pointed a handgun at them and forced them into a back alley, according to police.
The teen reported that another man and three others were waiting in the alley, and that they stole a gold link bracelet from the 16-year-old and a black backpack and wallet containing $70 in cash from the 15-year-old before they fled, according to police.

A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 4200 block of West Addison Street was burglarized between 7:40 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, according to 17th (Albany Park) district police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that a desktop computer monitor valued at $1,000, a Lenovo laptop computer valued at $300, a black Xbox video game console valued at $250, an electric guitar valued at $700, a suitcase valued at $60, and a silver wristwatch valued at $50 were missing, according to police.

A WOMAN reported that her apartment in the 3300 block of North Karlov Avenue was burglarized between noon and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, according to 17th (Albany Park) district police.
The 30-year-old woman reported that when she returned home she discovered the rear door open and that a purse valued at $500 containing $100 in cash was missing, according to police.

LINCOLNWOOD

A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the 3300 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
Officers said they responded to an accident between a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and another vehicle at about 2:05 a.m., that the driver of the Caravan was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Martin Wences-Benitez, age 41, of the 1500 block of West Greenleaf Avenue.

A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 1:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the 7000 block of North McCormick Boulevard, according to Lincolnwood police.
Officers saw a blue 2005 Dodge Caravan driving more than 20 miles per hour above the speed limit on McCormick and swerve into the wrong lane while turning into the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 Touhy Ave., according to police. The man was arrested after failed sobriety tests, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Junior Rengifo, age 42, of the 2600 block of Scott Street, Franklin Park.
