Local Crime from 17th District 11-18-17





A woman reported that she was robbed at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the 3200 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 27-year-old woman reported that as she was walking to her vehicle, three men exited a black 2-door vehicle and that one of the men told her to give him her possessions or they would "pull out the guns" and took her purse containing her cell phone, keys, credit cards, identification cards and $1,000 in cash, according to police.
The three men were described as white/Hispanic, between the ages of 20 and 35, 5-5 to 5-6 and 150 to 160 pounds.

A woman reported that she was robbed at about 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 31-year-old woman reported that while she was walking, a man approached her from behind, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money and took her wallet containing credit cards, identification cards and $42 in cash and a cell phone valued at $90, according to police.
The man was described as white/Hispanic, age 20 to 29, 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored knit hat.

A man reported that he was robbed at about 5:35 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the alley of his residence in the 4000 block of North Bernard Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 51-year-old man reported that while he was unloading groceries from his vehicle, three men approached him, attacked him and took his wallet containing credit cards, identification cards and $100 in cash, according to police.
The three men were described as black, 5-10 to 5-11 and 175 pounds.

A woman reported that her apartment in the 4900 block of North Saint Louis Avenue was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that jewelry valued at $1,150, a vehicle title, a birth certificate and $1,400 in cash were missing, according to police.
