Chicago Fire Department crews responded to a fire in a building at 3536 W. Irving Park Road Friday afternoon, Oct. 30.
The building is occupied by several businesses as well as the Chicago Public Library’s Independence Branch.
The 4-11 alarm fire reportedly started in a dry cleaner in the building, which also led to a response by the hazardous materials team.
