THE OWNER of Stephanie’s Flower Shop, 3288 N. Milwaukee Ave., reported that the business was robbed at about 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that a man wearing a facemask displayed a handgun and took $500 from the cash register, according to police.
AN EMPLOYEE reported that the 7-Eleven store, 4401 N. Pulaski Road, was robbed at about 5 p.m. Sunday, March 1, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 60-year-old man reported that a man wearing a displayed a handgun and took $50 in cash from the register, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, March 1, in an alley in the 3300 block of West Hutchinson Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 31-year-old man reported that as he was driving in the alley, two men approached the car and one of them displayed a handgun and the other opened the car door and took his jacket containing his driver’s license and a debit card, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 6400 block of North Trumbull Avenue was burglarized between 3:30 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, according to Lincolnwood police.
The woman reported that she discovered that the front door had been forced open and that jewelry valued at $10,000 to $15,000, a container with documents and $500 to $800 in cash were missing, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested on weapons charges at about 12:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the 3600 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
Officers who conducted a traffic stop discovered that the driver was wearing a bulletproof vest with the words "police officer" on it, and the driver said that he had a weapon and that he was working as a security officer, according to police. The man was arrested after officers discovered that his concealed carry license and firearm owner’s identification card were expired, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Riaz A. Samjoo, age 23, of the 5400 block of North Artesian Avenue.
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Mobil gas station, 6777 N. Lincoln Ave., according to Lincolnwood police.
Offices responded to a report of two men arguing at the station, and one of the men said that the other man was intoxicated and should not be driving, according to police. The 33-year-old man reported that a car almost hit him head on Lincoln and that he was able to get the driver to pull over at the station, and the driver was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Felix Lopez-Ochoa, age 33, of the 4400 block of North Kimball Avenue.
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday, March 1, in the 3300 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
A sport utility vehicle struck a squad car during a traffic stop, and the driver was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Winky Chow, age 35, of the 1100 block of South Michigan Avenue.
A MAN WAS arrested on drug charges at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the 4000 block of West Devon Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
Officers stopped a car with an expired registration plate, and the driver was arrested after officers found a marijuana cigarette and a jar of a wax that tested positive for THC, an active ingredient in marijuana, were found in the car, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Lan Ky Luu-Nguyen, age 35, of the 6400 block of North Kenton Avenue.
A WOMAN was arrested after she allegedly shoplifted items from the Kohl’s store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., at about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the woman place four shirts, pants and headphones valued at $148.99 into a backpack and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested after she allegedly shoplifted items from the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the man conceal a wallet valued at $38.15 and leave the store without paying for it, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Erick Aguirre, age 19, of the 2800 block of North Kedzie Avenue.
