A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was shot at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, May 2, in the 44000 block of North Sacramento Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
Officers who responded to a report of shots fired discovered an empty car that had struck three parked vehicles and that had bullet holes on the passenger-side door and a shot out window and rear windshield, according to police. The teen, who had been shot in the back, was treated at Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3900 block of North Tripp Avenue was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Monday, April 27, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that a desktop computer valued at $1,200 and an iMac computer valued at $500 were missing, according to police.

A COUPLE reported that their home in the 3600 block of West Grace Street was burglarized between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, May 4, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The couple reported that when they returned home they discovered that the front door had been forced open and that a necklace valued at $150, a backpack valued at $60, an iPad valued at $500, a television set valued at $200, an Xbox 360 video game console, a Play Station video game console, two video games and two laptop computers valued at $1,300 were missing, according to police.

A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 3:10 a.m. Friday, May 1, in the 6000 block of North Lincoln Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a vehicle that was speeding, and the driver was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Jimmy Dang, age 26, of the 4700 block of West Peterson Avenue.

AN EMPLOYEE reported that Nina’s Nails, 6522 N. Lincoln Ave., was burglarized between 11 p.m. Friday, May 1, and 9 a.m. the following day, according to Lincolnwood police.
The employee reported that when she arrived at the business she discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that $100 in cash was missing, according to police.
