Statistics show breakdown of virus cases by ZIP code

There have been 2,285 reported cases of residents testing positive for COVID-19 in city and some suburban ZIP codes on or adjacent to the Northwest Side as of April 14, according to statistics compiled by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
On the city’s Northwest Side, the number of confirmed positive cases breakdown in these ZIP codes as follows:
There have been 218 cases reported in 60618, 225 cases in 60625, 132 cases in 60630, 83 cases in 60631 and 251 cases in 60634, according to the state department.
Also, there have been 189 cases reported in 60641, 360 cases in 60645, 65 cases in 60646, 76 cases in 60656 and 197 cases in 60659.
In some parts of the suburbs such as Lincolnwood, Niles and Skokie, there have been 60 cases reported in 60706, 64 cases in 60712, 102 cases in 60714, 144 cases in 60076 and 119 cases in 60077.
As of April 14, the department is reporting that statewide there have been 23,247 positive cases and 868 deaths. There have been 110,616 tests performed through that date.
