A MAN REPORTED that someone in a van fired a gun at him at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in the 3600 North Milwaukee Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 24-year-old man reported that after he dropped off his girlfriend, a Chevrolet Blazer followed him and shots were fired at him from the vehicle, striking a driver’s-side tire, according to police.
TWO MEN REPORTED that they were attacked in an apparent gang-related incident at about 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in the 3200 block of West Montrose Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The men, age 40 and 26, reported that three men called them names and struck them with baseball bats, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was attacked at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in the 4100 block of North Francisco Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 58-year-old man reported that after he parked his car in front of his garage, a man in a gray car argued with him, got out of the car, and struck him with a baseball bat, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly robbed a woman at about 5:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in the 3900 block of North Avondale Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 46-year-old woman reported that two men entered her car and took $50 from her, according to police. The suspect was arrested after the woman identified him walking on Irving Park Road, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Rachid Elfaidi, age 26, of the 5500 block of North Central Avenue.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in the 3600 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 40-year-old man reported that two men got out of a car, pushed him to the ground and took his wallet containing $55, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the 4800 block of North Christiana Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 47-year-old woman reported that a man displayed a knife and that a second man took her purse, according to police.
One of the men was described as black, age 20 to 25, 6-0 and 160 pounds. The other man was described as white/Hispanic, age 20 to 25, 5-7 to 5-9 and 150 pounds.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3800 block of West Eddy Street was burglarized between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door was open and that a wooden box and an antique musket were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 5300 block of North Bernard Street was burglarized between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that a rear window was open and that 50 pieces of silverware missing, according to police.

The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the basement door had been forced open and that two laptop computers valued at $2,200, a Play Station 3 video game console valued at $250 and an iPod music player valued at $300 were missing, according to police.
TWO WOMEN reported that their apartments in a building in the 4600 block of North Lowell Avenue were burglarized on Thursday, Oct. 17, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
One of the women reported that when she returned home she discovered that a window was open and that three cell phones and an iPod were missing, according to police. The other woman reported that she discovered that a door had been forced open and a 46-inch television set, an Xbox video game console, an iPod, a video game and $50 in cash were missing, police said.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4100 block of North Sacramento Avenue was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door was open and that $1,700 worth of jewelry was missing, according to police.
RESIDENTS reported that their home in the 6100 block of North Tripp Avenue was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man and the woman reported that when they returned home they discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that a fur coat and a jacket valued at $4,000, jewelry valued at $4,000 and $4,00 worth of coins were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4900 block of North Karlov Avenue was burglarized between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and 8:30 p.m. the following day, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that a kitchen window was open and that a 42-inch television set, a laptop computer, a theater system and gold jewelry were missing, according to police.

The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that a laptop computer valued at $400, a hard drive valued at $100, two rings valued at $800, a watch valued at $1,000 and $200 in cash were missing, according to police.

A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4300 block of North Kimball Avenue was burglarized between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that a rear window had been forced open and that a Play Station 3 video game console valued at $150 and an Apple tablet valued at $400 were missing, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested on drug charges at about 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in the 4400 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer on patrol stopped a car without a license plate after he saw it make a turn without a signal, and the driver was arrested after the officer smelled the odor of marijuana and found six bags containing a substance suspected of being marijuana in the car, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Oscar G. Lazaro, age 20, of the 7200 block of North Claremont Avenue.
AN EMPLOYEE reported that the Dunkin’ Donuts, 3910 W. Touhy Ave., was robbed at about 8:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, according to Lincolnwood police.
The 21-year-old employee reported that a man displayed a gun and took about $500 from the cash register, according to police.
AN EMPLOYEE of the CVS Pharmacy, 7179 N. Lincoln Ave., reported that a man and a woman took items at about 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, according to Lincolnwood police.
The employee reported that he saw the two place $656 worth of items in shopping bags and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
AN EMPLOYEE of the Kohl’s store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., reported that two men stole items at about noon Sunday, Oct. 20, according to Lincolnwood police.
The 37-year-old employee reported that he saw two men conceal about $1,247 worth of clothing and jewelry and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
One of the men was described as Hispanic, age 20 and 5-7 to 5-9, and wearing a long gray shirt, black jeans and gym shoes. The other man was described as Hispanic, age 20 and 5-5 to 5-7, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 7100 block of North Hamlin Avenue was burglarized between 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and 1 a.m. the following day, according to Lincolnwood police.
