Canty School new annex grand opening

A grand opening celebration was held at the start of the school year for the new annex at Canty School, 3740 N. Panama Ave., shown under construction.

The 38,000-square-foot addition to the school, which was severely overcrowded, features 16 classrooms, a lunchroom/multi-purpose room, a hybrid kitchen and a new playlot.
