Fringe Festival
The entertainment lineup for the sixth annual "Chicago Fringe Festival," which will be held at venues in Jefferson Park from Sept. 3 through Sept. 13, has been announced.
The festival will feature 50 performance groups including the League of Miscreants, the Duplicity Ensemble, Hart Life, Jaded Optimist Productions, Kayla Lane Freeman and Sara Faye Richmond, the Rally Theater and Sarah Chichester.
New this year will be "Kids Fringe," which will feature performances for children age 12 and younger. The performers will include Ashley Roberson, Barrel of Monkeys and the Fool Size Theater.
The main box office, information and activity center for the festival is at Fischman Liquors, 4780 N. Milwaukee Ave. The location will house some activities throughout the festival, including after parties and music. A preview party will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Performances will be held at the Congregational Church of Jefferson Park, 5320 W. Giddings St., the Gift Theater, 4802 N. Milwaukee Ave., and the Jefferson Playhouse, 5340 W. Lawrence Ave.
Admission to the festival is $5, and admission to each individual performance is $10. Admission to "Kids Fringe" is $5, and admission to each individual performance is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and younger.
Four-show passes cost $36, 10-show passes cost $80 and an unlimited pass costs $175.
