Jeff Fest to feature a ‘Journey’ on a ‘Zeppelin’

Entertainment at the Jefferson Park Chamber’s 16th annual Jeff Fest arts and music festival will feature a Journey on a Zeppelin that will include a guest list of Who’s Who and a cake topped with a Pearl and 16 Candles.
Scheduled bands at the premier neighborhood festival will cover rock hits from the 1960s through the 2000s. And once again, the festival will be at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave. (please enter the festival grounds off Lawrence at Linder or by the pool along Higgins).
Here is the scheduled lineup for the main stage:
FRIDAY, July 29: 97Nine at 7 p.m. and 16 Candles (80s tribute) at 9 p.m.
SATURSAY, July 30: The Gingers (‘Redheads that rock!’) at 2 p.m., The Who’s Who at 4 p.m., Pearl Jam Chicago Tribute at 6 p.m. and 70s Classic Rock Show at 8:30 p.m.
SUNDAY, July 31: Fletcher Rockwell at 4 p.m., Kashmir (Led Zeppelin tribute) at 6 p.m. and Journey Unauthorized at 7:45 p.m.
Additional bands to be announced soon!! (Please note: schedule subject to change).
Also returning will be the family-favorite Drum Circle, the C3 PhotoFest IV, kid activities and roving musicians and artists. The Community Stage will feature local arts and cultural groups. The Northwest Arts Connection and the Fringe Fest are helping with the entertainment planning.
Admission is $5. Proceeds benefit the chamber and its community/business initiatives.
Gates open at 6 p.m. on Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
