Jefferson Park shooting incident leaves one dead, another in critical condition

Police are investigating a homicide and a possible attempted suicide which reportedly occurred at about 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in the 4700 block of North Linder Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Responding to a report of gunshots in the area, officers found a woman who had been fatally shot outside a home along with a man who was in critical condition from a gunshot wound, according to police. The man was transported to a local hospital, police said.
The gun apparently used in the incident was recovered, and the incident remains under investigation, police said.
