AN EMPLOYEE reported that the BP gas station, 5200 W. Addison St., was robbed at about 3:40 a.m. Monday, March 13, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 67-year-old man reported that a man covering his face threatened him with a crowbar and took $900 and his cell phone, police said.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly broke into a man’s home and for possession of drugs at about 7:15 p.m. Monday, March 13, in the 5200 block of North Moody Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
A 30-year-old man reported that a man entered his home through the unlocked front door and that he pushed the man out of the home and held him for officers, according to police. Officers found 2 grams of a substance suspected of being cocaine and a pill suspected of being Xanax in his possession, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Robert R. Luciw, age 61, of the 2100 block of North Lawler Avenue.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 5:50 a.m. Sunday, March 12, in the 5700 block of North Mango Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 52-year-old man reported that an Uber driver picked him up from Belmont and Laramie avenues and that after he was dropped off, the man punched in the face and neck and took his wallet containing $50 and credit cards, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was stabbed at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the CTA Jefferson Park bus terminal, 4917 N. Milwaukee Ave., according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 18-year-old man reported at Community First Medical Center that he had an argument with a man that began in the parking lot of a restaurant on Milwaukee Avenue and that the man stabbed him in the elbow in the terminal, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that a man threatened him with a gun at about 4 p.m. Thursday, March 9, as he was driving in the 7200 block of West Roscoe Street, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 23-year-old man reported that he yielded to a pedestrian as he was making a turn onto Harlem Avenue and that the man pointed a gun at him, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, in an alley in the 5400 block of West Foster Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 39-year-old woman reported that after she parked her car, two men got out of a sport utility vehicle and one displayed a handgun and took her purse containing her cell phone, keys and her wallet, according to police.
AN EMPLOYEE reported that J.B. Fragrances, 7212 W. Belmont Ave., was robbed at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 50-year-old man reported that three men entered the store and locked the doors and that one of the men punched him in the face and took a laptop computer valued at $600 and $5,000 in cash, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the 3200 block of North Harlem Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 64-year-old woman reported that a man knocked her to the ground and took her purse containing credit cards, an insurance card, keys and $120, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her purse was stolen at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the 6000 block of West Higgins Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 56-year-old woman reported that a man approached her and took her purse containing credit cards and $50, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was the victim of a scam at about noon Friday, March 10, at her home in the 5800 block of North Ozark Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 84-year-old woman reported that a man came to the door and told her that his father had performed work for her several years ago and that he would fix shingles on her roof, according to police. The woman said that after she agreed to the repairs, the man asked for a bucket of water from the basement, and when he returned with her from the basement he left the home and entered a vehicle driven by a second man, police said. The woman said that she discovered that seven bracelets and $1,000 in cash were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that a home that he is rehabbing in the 5200 block of West Warwick Avenue was burglarized between 5 p.m. Friday, March 10, and 7:30 a.m. Monday, March 13, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that when he discovered that the rear door was open and that tools valued at $2,965 were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 5700 block of West Addison Street was burglarized between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that jewelry, a laptop computer and a digital videodisc player were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that the garage of his home in the 6100 block of West Rosedale Avenue was burglarized between 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, and 6:30 a.m. the following day, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the side door was broken and that tools valued at $2,000 were missing, according to police.
THEFTS of vehicles were reported between March 3 and March 13, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Thefts were reported in the 6100 block of West Dakin Street, the 5000 block of West Newport Avenue, the 5900 block of West Montrose Avenue, the 3300 block of North Rutherford Avenue, the 5300 block of West Foster Avenue, the 5300 block of North Cumberland Avenue and the 3400 block of North Mobile Avenue, according to police.
