A BUS DRIVER reported that he was attacked at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at the CTA Harlem Blue Line station, 5499 N. Harlem Ave., according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 36-year-old driver reported that a passenger became upset that he would not leave the terminal and that the man pushed him and punched him in the face and cheek and fled south on Harlem, according to police.
A MAN WAS stabbed at about 5:25 p.m. Sunday, March 20, in an alley in the 4400 block of North Central Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 19-year-old man reported that during an altercation about a post on Facebook he punched a man in the face several times and the man stabbed him in the right hand, the torso, the arm and the back, according to police. The man was treated at Community First Medical Center, police said.
A MAN AND a woman reported that a man threatened them with a knife at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, in the 3700 block of North Harlem Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 28-year-old man and the 32-year-old woman reported that after they left a store, a man got out of a car, displayed a knife at them and threatened to kill them, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his van was stolen at about 3:50 a.m. Saturday, March 19, from the 5200 block of North Melvina Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 29-year-old man reported that he saw a man sitting in his Ford Econoline van who started the vehicle and drove away, according to police. A 31-year-old woman reported that during that time a small red car parked not far away drove north on Melvina and almost struck her, police said. The man reported that tools and luggage valued at about $3,600 were taken with the van, police said.
THE OWNER of the Ruk Sushi and Thai restaurant, 4431 N. Milwaukee Ave., reported that she was robbed outside her business at about 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 18, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 67-year-old woman reported that she and her 42-year-old son were outside the business and that two masked men approached them and one of them pushed her to the ground and took her purse containing $1,000 in cash, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that two men stabbed her during a robbery attempt at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the 5200 block of West Irving Park Road, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 22-year-old woman reported that two men demanded her belongings and when she refused one of them stabbed her in the left thigh, according to police. The woman was treated at Community First Medical Center, police said.
AN EMPLOYEE reported that the Subway restaurant, 4070 N. Milwaukee Ave., was burglarized between 11:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, and 6:30 a.m. the following day, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that he discovered that the front store window had been broken and that an empty cash box was missing, according to police.
AN EMPLOYEE reported that Rosati’s Pizza restaurant, 5544 N. Milwaukee Ave., was burglarized between 11 p.m. Thursday, March 17, and 6 a.m. the following day, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that he discovered that the front door window had been broken and that a cash register containing $210 and keys was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported on March 17 that she was robbed at about 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, in the 5300 block of Wet Roscoe Street, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 42-year-old woman reported that a man took her purse containing her cell phone and a wallet containing debit cards and $500 in cash, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the 4900 block of North Merrimac Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 36-year-old man reported that he received a call from a man to perform work on a home that was for sale and that when he arrived a man struck him on the knee and in the face with a board and took his cell phone, according to police.
AN OFFICER reported that he was threatened on the phone at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, at a restaurant in the 6100 block of West Belmont Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The officer reported that an employee of the restaurant told him that there was a call for him and a man on the line asked if he was the officer who had just entered the business, according to police. The officer said that the man on the phone threatened to blow up three police squad cars beginning with his, police said.
AN EMPLOYEE of the Radio Shack store, 5316 N. Milwaukee Ave., reported that a woman stole a cell phone valued at $508 at about 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 5700 block of West Montrose Avenue was burglarized between 5:30 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Monday, March 21, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the front door was unlocked and that a jar containing $400 worth of coins was missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his car was burglarized at about 10:45 a.m. Monday, March 21, while it was parked in the 5400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned to his 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander he discovered that the rear window had been broken and the tires were slashed and that 12 cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,300 were missing, according to police.

The couple reported that when they returned home they discovered that the front door was open and that jewelry valued at $2,500 was missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that a trailer and heavy towing equipment were stolen between 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, and 10 a.m. the following day, in the 6000 block of North Cicero Avenue, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
A WOMAN reported that two men broke into her home in the 6800 block of North Northwest Highway at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 78-year-old woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door had been forced open and that two men were leaving through the rear door, according to police. The woman said that a 36-inch television set and a watch were missing, police said.
THEFTS OF vehicles were reported between March 14 and 20, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Thefts were reported in the 5200 block of North Latrobe Avenue, the 3900 block of North Oak Park Avenue, the 4000 block of North Laporte Avenue, the 5700 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, the 5200 and 5500 blocks of North Central Avenue, the 3300 block of North Ozanam Avenue and the 3900 block of North Luna Avenue, according to police.
