A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 9:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, in the 4700 block of North Karlov Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 28-year-old woman reported that as she was walking to her car, a man ran toward her holding a steak knife, pushed her to the ground and attempted to stab her, according to police. The woman said that she kicked the man and shouted for help and he took her cell phone which had fallen to the ground and fled, police said.
A 15-YEAR-OLD boy reported that he was robbed at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the 3800 block of West Sunnyside Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The boy reported that two men demanded his phone and when he refused to give it to them one of the men threatened him and the other took his cell phone from his pocket, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that a man broke into her home in the 4000 block of North Keystone Avenue between midnight and 2 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 43-year-old woman reported that she heard the rear door alarm sound at about midnight but went back to sleep and that when she woke up at 2 a.m. she discovered a man lying on her bedroom floor, according to police. The woman said that the man fled when she screamed and that she discovered that several bottles of liquor and other items were packed in suitcases near the door, police said.
A WOMAN reported that three men broke into her home in the 4500 block of West Bryn Mawr Avenue at about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 87-year-old woman reported that she heard a noise whiled she was in the basement and that when she went upstairs three men wearing ski masks fled her home to a car that was parked in the street, according to police. The woman said that jewelry and two pairs of cufflinks were missing, police said.
AN EMPLOYEE of CVS Pharmacy, 3311 N. Pulaski Road, reported that a man threatened him with a knife at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 24-year-old man reported that he saw a man conceal three bottles of liquor into a bag and leave the store without paying for the items and that when he confronted the man, he threatened him with a pocketknife, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4200 block of West Melrose Street was burglarized at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that jewelry, a passport and $1,000 in cash were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4200 block of North Lawndale Avenue was burglarized between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear window had been forced open and that two Hewlett-Packard computers, a tablet and $800 in cash were missing, according to police.

A WOMAN was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following her arrest at about 2:20 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in the 6500 block of North Crawford Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a vehicle that was speeding, and the driver was arrested after she failed sobriety tests, according to police
The suspect was identified by police as Lisa T. Chelampath, age 28, of the 6800 block of North Lowell Avenue.
A WOMAN was charged with a felony count of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol following her arrest at about 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the 3700 block of West Devon Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a vehicle that was swerving and being driven below the speed limit, and the driver was arrested after she could not provide a valid driver’s license or proof of auto insurance and she failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Sandra I. Hernandez, age 26, of the 2400 block of South Spaulding Avenue.
A MAN WAS charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license following his arrest at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the 4600 block of West Chase Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer approached a vehicle that was in a parking lot, and the driver was arrested after the officer smelled the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle and discovered paraphernalia and that the driver was operating an uninsured motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license, according to police.
The suspect was identified as Alex Huynh, age 25, of the 6000 block of North Artesian Avenue.
