A MAN WAS shot at about 5:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the 2900 block of West Montrose Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A woman reported that she heard several gunshots and discovered a hole in a building, and officers discovered blood drops, three shell casings and a baseball hat, according to police. A 32-year-old man reported at Swedish Covenant Hospital that he had been shot, but he was uncooperative, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that a man threatened him with a gun at about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the 4200 block of West Melrose Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 32-year-old man reported that as he was walking a man, in a sport utility vehicle asked him if he is in a gang, got out of the vehicle, displayed a handgun and threatened to kill him, according to police.
A MAN WAS shot at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the 4400 block of West Belmont Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 34-year-old man reported that he was at a memorial for a deceased gang member with other men and that as a car drove past, a man fired 10 shots in their direction and a bullet struck him in the right foot, according to police. The man was treated at Community First Medical Center, police said.
A WOMAN was arrested after she allegedly stabbed her husband at about 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at a home in the 4400 block of North Keeler Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 57-year-old man reported that he was sleeping and he woke up and discovered his wife cutting his arm with an unknown object, according to police. The man, who had superficial cuts on his arm, said that he pushed the woman away and called police, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Janeen M. Santella, age 56, of the Keeler address.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, in the 3200 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 21-year-old man reported that he was with three other men and that a man approached them with a baseball bat and took his cell phone and $140 from him, and that when he would not give the man his Mexican identification, the man knocked him to the ground and took his identification and that two of the men that he was with also attacked him and the assailants fled, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the 3300 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 20-year-old man reported that as he was sitting in his car, two men approached him and one of them pointed a drill at him and took his wallet, his car keys and his cell phone, according to police. The man said that when he fought back, the man stabbed him in the neck with the drill, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, in the 4100 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 31-year-old man reported that two men knocked him to the ground, punched him and took his keys, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her purse was stolen at about 6:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the 3600 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 30-year-old woman reported that a man approached her and took her purse containing her cell phone valued at $600, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 5000 block of North Kedvale Avenue was burglarized between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door was open and that necklaces were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3600 block of North Sawyer Avenue was burglarized between noon and 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door was open and that a laptop computer valued at $350, an Xbox video game console valued at $399, nine pieces of jewelry and a credit card were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4400 block of West Sunnyside Avenue was burglarized between 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, and 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear window was unlocked and that $500 in cash was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4000 block of West School Street was burglarized between 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, and midnight the following day, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door had been forced open and that jewelry and a bag of shrimp were missing, according to police.
