A MAN REPORTED that his girlfriend stabbed him at about 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at a residence in the 4100 block of West Eddy Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 22-year-old man reported that during an argument with his girlfriend, the woman stabbed him in the hand with a knife, according to police. The man suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention, police said.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 5400 block of North Kimball Avenue was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that a laptop computer valued at $800 and a television set valued at $300 were missing, according to police.
TWO APARTMENT units in a building in the 5400 block of North Spaulding Avenue were reported burglarized between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
Residents reported that when they returned to their apartments they discovered that electronics and jewelry valued at a total of about $7,500 were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3900 block of West Waveland Avenue was burglarized between Jan. 3 and Jan. 18, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that her landlord notified her that a window in her apartment was open and that when she returned home she discovered that a table valued at $550, a necklace valued at $850 and 23 other necklaces and pendants valued at a total of $1,150 were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3500 block of West Wilson Avenue was burglarized between 4 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered jewelry, a passport and $900 in cash were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3400 block of North Kildare Avenue was burglarized between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door was damaged and that a global positioning system device valued at $100 and tools valued at $125 were missing, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of drugs following his arrest at about 1:50 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the 3400 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
After an officer stopped a car that was weaving, the driver was arrested when the officer discovered that he was driving under heavy medication and the officer found a glass pipe and a substance suspected of being cocaine in the car, according to police.
The suspect was identified as Jordan M. Leshrz, age 40, of the 400 block of Kelburn Road, Deerfield.
TWO WOMEN were cited for retail theft at about 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, after they took items from the Kohl’s store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 Touhy Ave., according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the two women take jewelry and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
The suspects were identified by police as Laura F. Bock, age 47, of the 4800 block of West Conrad Street, Skokie, and Debbie M. Perez, age 48, of the 3700 block of North Troy Street.
A MAN REPORTED that his car was burglarized between 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, and 6:45 a.m. the following day while it was parked in front of his home in the 7000 block of North Kenton Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
The man reported that he discovered that a laptop computer, keys and a shoulder bag were missing from the car, according to police.
