A MAN REPORTED that he saw a man fire a gun at a car at about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the 4600 block of North Monticello Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The witness reported that he was on his front porch when he saw a man fire a gun at a Honda Civic driven by a man, according to police. The man said that the car’s rear window was shot out, and officers found three bullet casings on the scene, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that he was attacked at about 6:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the 4700 block of North Central Park Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that as he was walking, a man struck him in the head and back with an unknown object, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the 3200 block of West Eastwood Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 29-year-old woman reported that two men approached her and one of them displayed a handgun and that the two took her cell phone valued at $400 and her wallet containing credit cards and a $600 in cash, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3300 block of West Berteau Avenue was burglarized between 12:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that an the rear door was open and that an iPad, an iPhone, $800 worth of coins, a camera and an urn were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that two teenagers broke into his home in the 3300 block of West Wilson Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 29-year-old man reported that he woke up and saw two teenagers in his living room and that one of them was holding an Xbox video game console, according to police. The man said that he confronted the two and they fled, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 4200 block of West Montrose Avenue was burglarized between 3:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that a stereo was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that a man threatened her at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the 3800 block of West Roscoe Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that she had an argument with a man over a parking space and the man threatened her with a Taser, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4200 block of West Addison Street was burglarized between 7:15 a.m. and 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the back door was open and that a laptop computer and jewelry were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 5500 block of North Christiana Avenue was burglarized at about 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door was unlocked and that a briefcase containing jewelry valued at $15,000 was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3900 block of North Kildare Avenue was burglarized between 12:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door was unlocked and that a laptop computer, an iPad, an iPhone, a charger, an iPod dock, two television sets, earrings, two rings, a jewelry box and two pillow cases were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3900 block of West Argyle Street was burglarized between noon and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the back door had been forced open and that a laptop computer, an iPod, an iPod dock, a purse, a jewelry box containing jewels, a table and a box containing digital video discs were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 4800 block of North Avers Avenue was burglarized between 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, and 12:30 a.m. the following day, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door was open and that a 9mm handgun, a .223 caliber rifle and a .22 caliber rifle were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that a man threatened her at about 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the 5100 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 25-year-old woman reported that during a traffic altercation, a man honked his horn and made an obscene gesture showed because she was driving slowly because of the snow, and that when she stopped at Pulaski Road and Foster Avenue, the man got out of his car, shouted at her and pointed a knife at her, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the 6300 block of North McCormick Boulevard, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a car that was speeding, and the driver was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Celso Flores-Tovar, age 46, of the 4400 block of North Springfield Avenue.
TWO MEN were arrested on drug at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, in the 3600 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer who stopped a car with a broken headlight saw open beer cans in the back seat and that the passenger was intoxicated and had white powder on his nose, according to police. The passenger was arrested after the officer found a bag containing a substance suspected of being cocaine that he dropped in the vehicle, and the driver was also arrested for driving on an expired license and having open alcohol in the vehicle, police said. The officer also discovered a box containing two bags containing substances suspected of being cocaine, Ecstasy and weight loss pills, police said.
The suspects were identified by police as Ryan K. Mish, age 30, of the 2800 block of North Kedzie Avenue, and Carlos Torres, age 41, of the 200 block of Lorberta Lane, Waterford, Mich.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly shoplifted items at the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., at about 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that that he saw the man conceal two jackets valued at $303 between other clothing, enter a fitting room and then leave the store with the jackets, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Arsil L. Vohra, age 18, of the 6500 block of North Seeley Avenue.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly shoplifted items at the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., at about 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw a man open a box containing a watch valued at $65, place the watch in his pocket and leave the store without paying for it, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Theodore Beth-Shlimon, age 67, of the 5500 block of North Kimball Avenue.
