A MAN WAS SHOT at about 9 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in the 3500 block of West Cullom Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 28-year-old man reported that he and a woman were near Henry School and that he heard gunshots and realized that he had been shot in the stomach, according to police. The 26-year-old woman reported that a man who was crouching between vehicles fired a gun and then fled, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that a man threatened him with a gun following a traffic accident at about 5:20 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in the 3500 block of North Springfield Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 35-year-old man reported that his car was struck by another vehicle at Belmont and Keeler avenues struck and that he followed the other car to Springfield Avenue, where a passenger got out and pointed a gun at him, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 11:55 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the 4200 block of North Bernard Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 32-year-old man reported that three men approached him from behind and that one of them struck him and a second man pointed a knife at him and took his cell phone valued at $600 and $200 in cash, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly robbed the Shell gas station, 5155 N. Kimball Ave., at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
An employee reported that a man asked for a pack of cigarettes, then grabbed five packs, threatened him and fled, according to police. The suspect was later arrested based on the description that was provided, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Christopher Zanayed, age 21, of the 1400 block of North Plainfield Avenue, Darien.
EMPLOYEES reported that the T-Mobile store, 3951 W. Irving Park Road, was robbed at about 8:20 p.m. Monday, April 7, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The employees reported that three men entered the store and two of them displayed handguns, forced them into the back room and took their cell phones and a woman’s purse containing $500, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 6000 block of North Kimball Avenue was burglarized between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, April 6, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the side door had been forced open and that two handguns, three women’s rings valued at $1,200, a watch valued at $700 and a bracelet valued at $200 were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 4400 block of North Sawyer Avenue was burglarized between 8:30 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. Thursday, April 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the front door had been forced open and that two 32-inch television sets, a digital videodisc player and an Xbox 360 video game console were missing, according to police.

The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the rear door had been forced open and that $5,000 worth of jewelry and $2,000 in cash were missing, according to police.

A WOMAN reported that a man broke into her home in the 3200 block of North Keeler Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 6, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that she was woken up by noise and saw a man in her apartment who pushed her and fled, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3200 block of West Catalpa Avenue was burglarized between 4:40 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the back door had been forced open and that an iPad, a diamond ring, a laptop computer and three pairs of earrings were missing, according to police.
Lincolnwood
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 6600 block of North Trumbull Avenue was burglarized between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, according to Lincolnwood police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that a door had been forced open and that 100 items of jewelry, two passports and $10,000 in cash were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN WAS arrested on retail theft charges at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the woman take $68 worth of jewelry into a changing room and then leave the store with the items, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Wieslawa Pruszowska, age 45, of the 500 block of Sarah Drive, Wood Dale.
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 2 a.m. Friday, April 4, in the 3600 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
After an officer stopped a car that was weaving, the driver was arrested after he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Benjamin Rubinstein, age 18, of the 2500 block of West Fitch Street.
