A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 6:40 p.m. Friday, April 15, in the 3700 block of West School Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 20-year-old woman reported that two men her car and that one displayed a handgun and took $10 from her, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that three men stole his car at gunpoint at about 3:45 a.m. Monday, April 18, in the 3600 block of West Argyle Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 33-year-old man reported that three men with guns emerged from an alley and took his 2009 Toyota Corolla, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that she was robbed at about 4:55 a.m. Monday, April 18, in the 3400 block of North Hamlin Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 57-year-old woman reported that a man implied that he had a gun and took her purse and her cell phone, according to police.
A STREET vendor reported that she was robbed at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the 4800 block of North Kimball Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 48-year-old woman reported that a man and two women approached her cart and that one of the women took $200 from her apron, according to police. The woman said that she chased the three and that the man displayed a handgun and they fled in a car, police said.
TWO MEN and a woman reported that they were attacked at about 3 a.m. Saturday, April 16, in the 4500 block of North Kedzie Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The men, age 34 and 56, and the 30-year-old woman reported that after they left a restaurant, a group of five men struck them with beer bottles and punched them, according to police. The three were treated at Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that a man threatened him with a gun at about 2:40 p.m. Friday, April 15, in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy, 3343 W. Montrose Ave., according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 34-year-old man reported that three men approached him in a car sand that one of them asked his gang affiliation and displayed a handgun, and that the men left after he said that he is not in a gang, according to police.
A MAN WAS shot at about 2:50 p.m. Sunday, April 17, in the 4600 block of North Central Park Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A 20-year-old man walked into the 17th District police station with a gunshot wound to the back, according to police. The shooting is believed to be gang-related, and the man did not cooperate with officers, police said. He was treated at Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3500 block of West Hollywood Avenue was burglarized between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home he discovered that the front door had been forced open and that $400 in cash was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that he home in the 5300 block of North Christiana Avenue was burglarized between 7 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the back door was open and that a laptop computer and $100 in cash were missing, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
TWO MEN reported that their storage unit at Public Storage, 6460 N. Lincoln Ave., was burglarized between Feb. 2 and April 18, according to Lincolnwood police.
The men reported that they discovered that the wire roof of the unit had been rolled open and that several and that a Milwaukee electric drill and a Craftsman multi-tool set were missing, according to police.
A MAN WAS charged with possession of cannabis following his arrest at about 4:05 p.m. Monday, April 18, in the 6400 block of North Lincoln Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a man who was driving a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt, and the driver was arrested after the officer smelled the odor of marijuana and discovered a plastic bag containing approximately 11.83 grams of marijuana, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Nusmir Makalic, age 31, of the 1900 block of West Norwood Street.
A MAN WAS charged with possession of cannabis following his arrest at about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the 4500 block of West Touhy Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a man who was driving a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt, and the driver was arrested after the officer smelled the odor of marijuana and discovered three plastic bags containing approximately 1.52 grams of marijuana, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Jack Yacoub, age 33, of the 4600 block of West Touhy Avenue.
