A WOMAN WAS arrested after she allegedly attacked another woman with a knife at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, in the 4400 block of North Kimball Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A 19-year-old woman reported that the woman approached her and her friends, started an argument with her and cut her with a knife on the lower lip, the chest and each wrist, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Monikka Townsend, age 19, of the 4400 block of North Kimball Avenue.
A GIRL reported that she was robbed at about 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the 4100 block of North Keeler Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 12-year-old girl reported that two men approached her and that one of them grabbed her wrist and the other one took her cell phone from her hand, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 6200 block of North Keeler Avenue was burglarized between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, May 9, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door was open and that two laptop computers valued at a total of $1,800 were missing, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3200 block of North Central Park Avenue was burglarized between 2 and 5:55 p.m. Friday, May 9, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the front door had been broken in and that $4,000 in cash was missing, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 1 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the 4700 block of West Pratt Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a car that was weaving and speeding, and the driver was arrested after the officer detected the odor of alcohol and the driver could not stand without leaning on the car for support and he refused to take field sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Robinson Revolus, age 31, of the 9100 block of South Marshfield Avenue.
A MAN WAS charged with possession of a controlled substance following his arrest at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday, May 8, in the 3500 block of West Pratt Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a suspicious car, and the driver was arrested after the officer found 1 gram of a substance considered of being marijuana and multiple plastic bags containing a substance suspected of being cocaine, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Basil D. Mirou, age 27, of the 3500 block of West Pratt Avenue.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4600 block of West Devon Avenue was burglarized between 9:20 and 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, according to Lincolnwood police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front door was open and that 20 rings valued at $200 and a designer watch valued at $465 were missing, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested at about 4:35 p.m. Thursday, May 8, after he allegedly shoplifted items from the Carson Pirie Scott store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that she saw the man take a pair of jeans and three shirts valued at a total of $335 and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Hamza Bouslimi, age 23, of the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue.
A WOMAN was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, after she allegedly shoplifted items from the Kohl’s store in the Lincolnwood Town Center, 3333 W. Touhy Ave., according to Lincolnwood police.
An employee reported that he saw the woman place a pair of earrings and three cosmetics items in her purse and leave the store without paying for the items, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Teresa Sanabria, age 64, of the 5100 block of North Kostner Avenue.
