A MAN REPORTED that a man stabbed his brother at about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, in the 6300 block of North Pulaski Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 26-year-old man reported that he was driving his vehicle and that his 24-year-old brother was driving behind him in his own vehicle, and that when he looked in his rear view mirror, he saw a man fighting with his brother who then stabbed his brother in the arm before he entered a white sedan and drove away, according to police.
The man was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in serious condition and admitted for emergency surgery, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that he was threatened at about 5:40 p.m. Sunday, July 23, inside the Jollibee Restaurant, 5033 N. Elston Ave., according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 24-year-old man reported that as he was attempting to open a stall in the men’s restroom, a man pulled the door of the stall open and pointed a knife at him before he exited the restroom and restaurant and rode away on a bicycle, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed and stab at about 6:40 a.m. Thursday, July 27, in the 5000 block of North Kimberly Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 23-year-old man reported that while he was in a parking lot, a man exited the rear passenger side of a gray 4-door sedan and said, "Give me what you got," and that after he gave the man $10 worth of marijuana, the man pulled out a knife, cut him on the arm, pushed him to the ground, stomped on him eight times and kicked him in the back of his head before driving away, according to police.
The man was treated at Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said.
A WOMAN was stabbed at about 9:55 p.m. Thursday, July 20, in the 3600 block of North Richmond Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 51-year-old woman reported that while she was sitting in the living room of her home watching television with a friend, her daughter’s former boyfriend called her and asked her to go outside, and that after she argued with the man, he stabbed her in her right forearm and left ring finger, according to police.
A MAN WAS arrested after he allegedly made sexual advances toward a teenager and robbed him at about 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, in the 4600 block of North Francisco Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A 17-year-old teenager reported that a man approached him at the CTA Belmont Brown Line station and started a conversation to him, and that while he was riding on the train, the man started to talk to him again, made sexual advances toward him and put his hand inside his shorts and touched his penis, according to police. The teenager reported that after they exited the train at the Francisco Brown Line station, the man said, "Give me your shoes," and that after he pulled out a canister of pepper spray, the man grabbed the can from him, sprayed him in the face and body and ran away, police said.
Officers saw that the teenager was chasing the offender in the 2900 block of West Eastwood Avenue and that when they approached the teenager on the parkway, the teen told them that the man who stole his pepper spray was walking east on West Lawrence Avenue, according to police.
The officers stopped a man matching a description and the man was arrested after he was identified, police said.
The suspect was identified by police as Delane Hargrove, age 38, of the 10000 block of South Yale Avenue.
A MAN REPORTED that he was attacked at about 1 a.m. Friday, July 21, in the 3200 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 60-year-old man reported that as he was walking three men approached him from behind and that one of the men hit him in the head with a lead pipe before all three men fled, according to police. The man was treated at Community First Medical, police said.
