A MAN WAS found fatally shot at about 4:55 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the 4400 block of North Albany Ave., according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
Officers who responded to a report of a person on the ground discovered the man lying on his side with a running sprinkler spraying him, according to police. A neighbor reported that his wife heard gunshots at about 3 a.m., police said.
The man was identified by police as Israel Aragon Jr., age 21, of the 4500 block of North Albany Avenue.
A WOMAN WAS grazed by fragment of a bullet at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, in the 3400 block of West Irving Park Road, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 25-year-old woman reported that as she was walking she was struck in her thigh by a bullet, according to police. Witnesses reported that they heard three shots fired from a sport utility vehicle and, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that a man fired a gun at him at about 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, as he was driving in the 4500 block of North Kedzie Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 39-year-old man reported that he stopped at Sunnyside Avenue that a man in a car said in Spanish that his brother told him to kill him, and that as he drove away he heard shots that struck the driver’s-side passenger door, according to police. The man reported that he has a dispute with his brother over lottery winnings, police said.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 5:40 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, in the 4700 block of West Addison Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 28-year-old man reported that a man displayed a handgun and took his cell phone his wallet containing $100, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his car was stolen at about 12:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, in the 4100 block of North Mozart Street, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 24-year-old man reported that two men approached his 2014 Dodge Avenger, displayed handguns, ordered him out of the car and drove away in the vehicle, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that he was robbed at about 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, in the 3400 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The 38-year-old man reported that a man approached him and took his necklace valued at $300, according to police.
EMPLOYEES reported that the First Merit Bank, 4012 N. Pulaski Road, was robbed at about 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
A teller reported that a man announced a robbery and she gave him $3,000 and that he told a second teller to finish with a customer in the drive-through lane and she then gave him $1,200, according to police.
A MAN REPORTED that his home in the 3700 block of North Keeler Avenue was burglarized between midnight and 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The man reported that when he returned home he discovered that the side door had been forced open and that his bicycle valued at $450 was missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 6000 block of North Drake Avenue was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the rear door had been forced opened and that jewelry, two bags, eight cameras valued at $10,589 and four watches were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 3400 block of North Kenton Avenue was burglarized between 2:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front and back doors were open and that three watches valued at $925, earrings valued at $500, a ring valued at $2,000, a laptop computer valued at $1,000 and $500 in cash were missing, according to police.
A WOMAN reported that her home in the 4100 block of North Bernard Street was burglarized between 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, and 8 a.m. the following day, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that two wallets, a cell phone and two tablets were missing, according to police.

The woman reported that when she returned home she discovered that the front window was open and that $100 in cash was missing, according to police.
LINCOLNWOOD
A MAN WAS charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at about 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in the 6600 block of North Cicero Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
An officer stopped a vehicle that changed lanes without using a signal and that crossed the center line, and the driver was arrested after the officer smelled the odor of alcohol on his breath and he failed sobriety tests, according to police.
The suspect was identified by police as Carlos J. Cancio, age 69, of the 8400 block of Latrobe Street, Skokie.
A MAN REPORTED that his vehicle was burglarized between 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, and 7:30 a.m. the following day while it was parked on the driveway of his residence in the 7000 block of North Kenton Avenue, according to Lincolnwood police.
The man reported that he discovered that the glove compartment was open and that a backpack was missing, according to police.
