Masked gunmen steal Gladstone Park resident’s car
A man reported that he was robbed at gunpoint at about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, shortly after he parked his car in the 5600 block of North Mason Avenue and that the masked assailants drove away with his white 2009 Volvo S80, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The man told police that he noticed a group of individuals trying to break into a parked truck on Mason and that after he exited his car, three men and a woman approached him and demanded his keys, cell phone and wallet, according to police. Two of the men displayed handguns, police said.
The man reported that the woman in the group told the three men to leave him alone, police said.
The assailants were described as black and wearing dark clothing, including hooded sweatshirts and face masks, one of which had a skeleton’s teeth design, police said.
