Massage business at 7210 W. Touhy in Edison Park ordered closed following visit by vice unit

Prostitution-related citations were issued at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, to a reported massage business at 7210 W. Touhy Ave., according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The following day the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection issued a cease and desist order to the business for operating without a massage establishment license.
An undercover officer reported that he made an appointment for a massage and that while he was at the establishment a worker offered to perform a sex act in exchange for $150, according to police.
The worker was then placed into custody, and 10 citations were issued, police said.
The citations included operating a house of ill fame; touching, offering or agreeing to touch a customer’s genital area; employing a non-licensed therapist; operating a massage establishment without a regulated business license; failure to post signage identifying the business as a massage establishment; failure to provide prospective customers with mandated written notice of state law and failure to maintain clear glass at the entrance, police said.
