Meeting on project set

Alderman Nicholas Sposato (38th) will hold a community meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, on a proposal to add a third floor to an existing two-story, mixed-use building at 3413-15 N. Harlem Ave.
The meeting will be held at the Shabbona Park fieldhouse, 6935 W. Addison St.
The proposed third floor would consist of two residential units and bring the total number of apartments in the building to four, Sposato said. The building’s two storefronts, one of which is occupied by Ruben Salon Spa, would remain on the first floor.
In addition, there would be six on-site parking spaces, according to Sposato. The project requires the property to be rezoned.
