Robbery reported on CTA Blue Line at Cumberland; man reportedly exposes himself at Jefferson Park terminal 

A man reported that his cell phone was stolen at about 8:50 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the CTA Cumberland Blue Line station, 5800 N. Cumberland Ave., according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.

The 19-year-old man reported that he was sitting on the train looking at his phone when three men approached him, and one of them snatched his cell phone and they fled to the train platform, according to police. The man reported that he chased after the men when they stopped and warned him that they would attack him if he kept following them, police said.

One man was described as Black, age 20, 5-7 and 120 pounds, with a tattoo on his face, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark green or black sweatpants, police said. The second man was described as Black, age 20, 6-0 and 155 pounds, wearing all black clothing, according to police. The third man was described as Black, age 20, 6-0 and 155 pounds, with a tattoo on his face, wearing all black clothing, police said.

Also, a man was arrested at about 2:25 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in the 4900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, after he allegedly exposed himself at the Jefferson Park CTA Blue Line station, 4917 N. Milwaukee Ave., and he allegedly was in possession of drugs, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.

Officers reported seeing the man bent over exposing his buttocks in front of multiple CTA riders, including children, and stopped to investigate, according to police. A name check revealed the man had an active warrant and placed him into custody, according to police.

Officers recovered a prescription pill bottle containing 13 plastic baggies with a white powdery substance suspected to be heroin during a search, police said.

The suspect was identified by police as Kyle A. Schuyler, age 31, address not listed, according to police.
