A woman swerved to avoid a traffic accident and struck a gas line at the Popeye’s restaurant, 4866 N. Milwaukee Ave., at about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The 27-year-old woman reported that as she was driving southbound on Milwaukee, the driver of another car changed lanes and she swerved to avoid a crash, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
