Woman robbed while walking on Chicago’s NW Side
A 41-year-old woman reported that she was robbed while walking at about 7:50 p.m. earlier this week in the 5600 block of West School Street in the Portage Park area, according to Chicago police.
The assailant fled in a waiting vehicle, which went westbound, according to police. No weapons were seen or implied, and the woman was not injured, police said.
An online video (posted on @CPD1617 Scanner) of the robbery shows that the woman chased her assailant as the offender ran to the waiting vehicle.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, police said.
A phone reportedly was stolen.
